throughout the world. ·
A
structured parish-wide program in which small faith communities are developed. ·
A
response to the call of Pope John Paul II for a “new evangelization” for the
21st century. ·
An
opportunity for Immaculate Heart of Mary parishioners to become better
connected, socialize and help each other grow spiritually. How will
Renew work? ·
Interested
people sign-up indicating a small group preference (feel free to have a friend
or spouse of another faith sign-up). ·
Faith
communities of 8 to 12 people will be formed. ·
Meetings
take place in a community member’s home once a week for six weeks for 90
minutes. ·
Using
Renew materials and led by a trained leader, the group will pray, reflect on
scripture and share how scriptures relate to everyday life. ·
After
the six week session, you decide whether or not you (or your group) would like
to continue into the next season. ·
Renew
