Decree
on Child Protection
The Archdiocese of Cincinnati Decree on
Child Protection requires all employees and all adult volunteers (those
over 18) who
work with children on a regular basis to complete a background check and
attend the Child Protection Class.
If you are volunteering or planning to
volunteer to work with children at IHM, please get a background check by
being fingerprinted if you have not yet done so. Protecting our
children is an adult responsibility --- please do your part by
supporting this effort to attain 100% compliance in our parish
community.
Fingerprinting
is offered in the IHM Parish
Office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from
9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Please check the following web address to locate other times and
locations within the Archdiocese of Cincinnati where fingerprinting is
available.

The Child Protection Class is
offered twice monthly at IHM. Classes are usually on the 2nd
Monday and the 3rd Wednesday of each month, except
July and August. Please call the church office (388-4466) to register
and confirm the times and dates for these classes. If you click on the
following web site, you can also locate the times and locations of
classes offered at other locations within the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.
