We minister to the homeless, hungry, and incarcerated not merely because we wish to be good citizens; we do so primarily because we believe that Jesus can be encountered and loved in our needy brothers and sisters. We serve the poor where we find them, City Gospel Mission, Walnut Hills Soup Kitchen, Anderson Hills Methodist Church, and in local prisons. We recognize the tragedy of lives lost to drugs, alcohol, mental illness, and poverty. We want to be a part of the solution.

City Gospel Mission: 3rd Wednesday of each month from 6:15-8:30 pm. 6-8 people are needed to serve the dinner meal. Contact: Sue Borgerding 232-9517, basketgoddess@cinci.rr.com.

Interfaith Hospitality Network: IHM works in conjunction with Anderson Hills Methodist Church. Six weeks a year (approximately every other month), homeless families come to stay at Anderson Hills. Your family or small faith community can sign up to cook a meal, prepare breakfast, stay overnight at the church, or provide fellowship with the families.

Prison Ministry
Immaculate Heart of Mary's Prison Ministry reaches out to those incarcerated, bringing to them the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. The ministry also distributes cookies, baked by parishioners, to those in prison during the Advent season. Parishioners are needed to help in baking and/or assisting in the cookie distribution during the Advent season.
