“Stewards of Children” is for all adults who care for or about children: parents, volunteers, teachers, coaches, neighbors and friends. It is designed to educate adults to prevent, recognize and react
responsibly to child sexual abuse. Come ready to learn – and you will!!!

Teachers within the Archdiocese may submit continuing education hours for attendance. This program is also approved for 3 contact hours of continuing education by: The National Association of Social Workers (Provider ID #886458319) and The National Board for Certified Counselors (Approval #SP-1138).
This program qualifies as a parent enrichment event for those with children in our parish’s PRP. The Stewards of Children program is also one way to update your training about child abuse especially if you have served as a volunteer for more than five years in our IHM parish.
