This support group is a small discussion group for caregivers, family members and friends of people with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia. The group provides participants with an opportunity to discuss caregiving challenges and share helpful tips, while receiving support from others who are in similar situations.
Bereavement Ministry

The Bereavement Ministry provides consolation, support, and practical assistance to individuals and families who have experienced the death of a loved one. This group strives to ease the burden of those involved in planning a funeral service, be it liturgy or memorial service. If your gifts lie in consolation and healing of the grieving, please consider becoming a bereavement minister.

Cancer Support Group

The Cancer Support Group is a faith-based group, which provides an opportunity to ministeer to one another when dealing with a diagnosis of cancer. It provides a spiritual base as a way to strengthen each other in faith as well as provide a place to be heard and understood by people walking the same road. When you participate in a group like this one, you either get support; give support or both. Mostly both.

Elizabeth Ministry is a response to the needs of women during the childbearing years. It reaches out in times of celebration and times of sorrow: pregnancy support, celebration of birth; grandparent support; miscarriage and infant or child loss; fertility and infertility; adoption; infant or child crisis.

Eucharistic Ministry to the Homebound

Eucharistic Ministers, through this compassionate ministry, respectfully administer the Holy Eucharist to those who are ill or temporarily incapacitated and confined to their home. Eucharistic Ministers need to be good listeners, friendly, willing to spend a little time and flexible.
Helping Hands

This ministry is comprised of parishioners who share their time and talents to offer temporary, practical assistance to individuals and families who need help during times of illness or other family “challenges.” Areas of assistance can include: meals, transportation, temporary in-home assistance or childcare, yard work, minor home repairs, and food preparation for funeral receptions.

Natural Family Planning (NFP) is based on an awareness of a woman’s fertility. NFP is 100% safe and has no health risks. It involves no potentially harmful birth control drugs or devices. For inner peace and for family happiness, you have to let God reign in your heart and in your marriage.
Prayer Shawl Ministry

A group of knitters meet every other Wednesday to knit or crochet shawls. This ministry reaches out to those in need of comfort and solace. Knitters in the group begin each shawl with prayers for the recipient. Intentions are continued throughout the creation of the shawl. When completed, the shawls are given to a parishioner who is undergoing medical procedures, during illness or recovery, etc. Experienced knitters or others new to the craft are welcome. You can craft shawls on your own if you prefer.

Project Rachel is the post-abortion healing ministry of the Catholic Church. It is designed to provide confidential and skilled help to each individual who comes to the ministry. Project Rachel is able to help women and men; parents and grandparents, siblings, friends, and others whose lives have been impacted by an abortion loss.
