Angel Bear Ministry
The Angel Bear Ministry was started by Jordan Moore and Braxton Moore and Kristen Dawe. They want kids who have recently experienced the death of a parent or sibling to know that they are praying for them and care about them. This angel bear is a gift to help them find comfort during the time their loved one is dying or has recently died...The Angel Bear Ministry is looking for new members to help expand this ministry. If interested, email us! We attend funerals, visitations, and go to the homes of children who have experienced a loss of a parent or sibling.

Here is their story…
My name is Jordan Moore. I am 16 years old. My dad died five and a half years ago when I was 10.
My name is Braxton Moore. I am 13 years old. My dad died five and a half years ago when I was 7.
My name is Kristen Dawe. I am 17 years old. My friend’s dad died when I was 11.
When our dad died, we received many cards, mementos, hugs, kisses, and gifts. All of them were very special to us. All of them were appreciated. We were happy with every thought and prayer. There was one gift that really meant a lot to us. We were each given a small bear with angel wings. It has become our daddy bear.
When our dad died, we placed our bears in the coffin with him. We had him hug and kiss our bears. We filled the bears with a lifetime of hugs and kisses. We are not sure how we thought to do this- it happened.
Each night, we hug and kiss our bear. We sleep with our bear every night. We know that our dad is with us. Whenever we are sad or miss our dad, we hug our bears. We know that our dad still loves us and we still love our dad. That will never change even though he is in heaven.
We have had many wonderful friends give us love and support. The best support we have had is with our friends, like Kristen. They have been understanding and compassionate- treating us like they always have and listening to us if we need to talk. Friends and family and our bears have been great help for us.
